A Rise in Home Bondage
The pandemic has had an effect on the sex industry.
We know this already. Providers are seeing fewer
customers and making less money. But what does
that mean for hobbyists? Are you all having less sex?
Or just less sex with providers?
If you lock a couple of people up in the same house
with nothing else to do, apparently they tie each
other up and ride like the wind.
Or at least they’re more inclined to because going out
becomes a less appealing option than it once was.
Now, odds are, a good portion of those stuck at home
are married couples. And of them, undoubtedly
some were hobbyists who’ve had to face a speed bump in
their former ways.
Sure there’s no evidence that extends this far yet, but is it possible hobbyists have simply gone home to their wives and girlfriends who, also devoid of any activities that might have taken up their time previously, are now simply enjoying sex with one another?
Is the recession edging out the hobby in favour or marriage? Who saw that shit coming?
Obviously this isn’t the death of prostitution or anything of the sort, very likely the sex industry is just seeing a lull.
Someone who saw an escort twice a month may now only see them once a month, and the remainder of the time is apparently being made up at home, with couple trying increasingly more “kinky” acts, or at least kinky for mainstream media who likely want to pretend we’re all still engaged in missionary a couple times a year.
So we’ve haven’t cracked the mystery of where all the punters have gone, but at least we know where the sex is going and that’s one half of the issue.
Give it time and everything will go back to the way it once was and we’ll all be the wiser for it. And potentially more skilled in tying each other up.
