Animal Instinct
Live for the fuck, girl. You don’t have to get married
or move in with every person who turns your crank.
You don’t have to settle in or settle down
with every guy who takes your fancy.
Settling in follows all the basic principles
of a relationship – monogamy, mutual interest,
friendships, coupledom. Therein lies the rut.
You need new desires, sex, fantasy fodder.
We have to escape what society expects us
to score a suitable mate.
Teenage Lust
There are chemical benefits at the start
of a sexual affair. Particuliary for teenagers.
A surge in testosterone and estrogen increase sexual
desire for another person early in a relationship.
Novelty and excitement both increase the
activity of dopamine and norepinephrine
in the brain, the neurotransmitters
associated with energy, motivation and elation.
At this same time, serotonin drops, allowing for
an increase in mood and sex drive.
This chemical cocktail is yet another benefit
you won’t find in long-term relationships.
Keep on changing!

“Emma Watson can’t be a feminist with her breasts out.”
It was just an actress being photographed
for a magazine, the way actresses always do
and people on twitter deciding to comment on it.
Gloria Steinem even responded, reminding everyone
that ‘feminists can wear whatever the fuck they want’.
Actually the breast exposure is
quite coy. No nipple exposure.
I find myself continuously flabbergasted
at how people can’t seem to wrap their heads
round the idea that feminism is about choice.
It’s not about controlling women’s lives,
it’s about giving women the freedom to
live however the fuck they want.

The Art of Seduction [The Rake’s Progress]
The rake indulges in immoral
conduct, particularly womanising.
A Rake’s insatiable desire for the opposite sex.
Ed Strong, director of porn studies,
fancies himself as a Rake.
Unlike the normal, cautious male,
the Rake is delightfully unrestrained,
a slave to his love of women.
There is the added lure of his reputation: so many women
have succumbed to him, there has to be a reason.
Remember: it is the form that matters, not the content.
The less your targets focus on what you say and the more
on how it makes them feel, the more seductive your effect.
Give your words a lofty, spiritual,
literary flavor the better to insinuate
desire in your unwitting victims.
To play the Rake, the most obvious requirement
is the ability to let yourself go, to draw a
woman into the kind of purely sensual moment
in which past and future lose meaning. You must
be able to abandon yourself to the moment.
